Strength and Conditioning:   Promotes broad and general overall physical fitness by combining weightlifting, sprinting, and gymnastics.  Increase your muscle endurance, enhance your strength, and take your cardio abilities to the next level.
Weight Training:  All athletes incorporate weights into their training regimen.  Students will have access to a variety of weight lifting equipment to target specific muscle groups and types of movement, to develop strength and muscle mass.
Personal Training:  This service is available to those who cannot attend scheduled classes or who prefer more individual instruction.

I am pleased with my improved level of health and fitness  

I have been "Sweating with Scott" now since near the beginning of 2013 and have been extremely pleased with my improved level of health and fitness. I was fairly fit when I first came to Scott but felt "stalled" in my quest to take my fitness to the next level. The work-out routines that I have been doing on my own were no longer effective and I felt that I had stalled with regards to my weight-loss and fitness level. I was unsure of how to proceed with regards to the toning and sculpting of my body not to mention becoming bored with the exercises I had come up with on my own. Scott has solved all those dilemmas for me with knowledgable instruction, introducing effective techniques and a personalized program designed specifically to suit my needs. It's a great relief to show up for my session knowing that Scott has already planned and effective workout for me and that he will keep tabs on my progress so my work out sessions will continue to be effective. I have chosen to do a work-out session that involves half strength-training and half boxing. I find the boxing, not only a lot of fun, but very physically and mentally challenging. It is an intense cardio work-out that still has my gasping for breath most times! Scott changes up my personal training sessions to keep things interesting, keep my body guessing and to ensure I don't get bored. I am no longer stalled in my fitness goals and have definitely noticed an increase in the toning of my body, my fitness abilities and have dropped a few of those stubborn pounds! Scott has taught me the proper way to work out and strength train so I am confident I am doing my works out properly and effectively when I'm forced to work out on my own at home. I have found Scott to be extremely reliable, conscientious, knowledgeable, professional and serious about assisting his clients in achieving their fitness goals. The training staff are great at P4P  

In my first month since joining P4P back on December 1st 2016, I have already lost 10lbs. The classes are awesome and have surpassed my expectations so far. The training staff are great, always providing feedback and areas of improvement. The overall gym atmosphere is positive where you feel welcome regardless of skill level.

I highly recommend Matt and Pound 4 Pound for anyone  

The time I spent working with Matt was probably the most productive I've been during 15 years of passive training in different disciplines. Being one on one allowed me to ask questions that I never felt comfortable asking in group settings. This allowed my knowledge of boxing, conditioning, and nutrition to expand exponentially. I highly recommend Matt for anyone looking to begin, or improve they're fitness lifestyle. Above all else, how cool is it to say you've trained with a pro fighter?

I can't imagine NOT waking up for my class at Pound 4 Pound  

I didn't make it through my first bootcamp class with Scott. Out of shape, asthmatic, and generally ill, I was the worst case scenario for a trainer. Fast forward and not only do I make it through my sessions, but I haven't used my inhaler in weeks. I feel better, stronger, and sleep better! Even in a "group" setting, Scott makes me feel like I have my own personal trainer. He tailors the workout to my abilities, but still pushes me beyond what I thought I could could do. My class is at 6:30am, a time when most people are just waking up; however the motivation to get out of bed comes from knowing that I'm heading to session that is worth waking up for. Now I can't imagine NOT waking up for my class.

I am very impressed with Matt and P4P  

I brought my 12 year old son, Connor, to Matt to improve his fighting skills. I am very impressed with Matt. He gives the training session his full attention and spends the session working on all aspects of the game. Connor's session with Matt not only involves strength training, conditioning and technique, but he receives many fighting tips that only a professional fighter could offer. Matt has a gift for working with kids and youth; he reads them well, quickly determining their strengths and weaknesses. He doesn't coddle Connor but challenges him to put out the best effort possible. My son enjoys working with Matt and he has definitely grown in skill level, physical fitness, temperment and confidence. Whether you want better fitness or technique for you child, or even increased confidence and self-esteem, training with Matt is they way to go.
