Martial Arts Training offers many benefits to P4P members. If you’re thinking of learning the craft of Muay Thai, BJJ, Boxing or further developing your skills, then let our team of expert Trained Instructors help develop your skillset. The benefits of taking up Martial Arts training are positive, but you can expect to not only see the physical difference but feel your confidence and self discipline increasing with each class.
Strength and Conditioning: Promotes broad and general overall physical fitness by combining weightlifting, sprinting, and gymnastics. Increase your muscle endurance, enhance your strength, and take your cardio abilities to the next level.
Weight Training: All athletes incorporate weights into their training regimen. Students will have access to a variety of weight lifting equipment to target specific muscle groups and types of movement, to develop strength and muscle mass.
Personal Training: This service is available to those who cannot attend scheduled classes or who prefer more individual instruction.
Having the pleasure and privilege of sitting under the learning tree of some of the best MMA instructors and P4P Coaches has been both a humbling and truly rewarding life experience. As someone who has only been learning the true art of MMA for about 3 months, I can say, without hesitation that the team at P4P has pushed me beyond my perceived physical and mental boundaries, and has enabled me to continually progress and hone my skills as a fighter. My intention when I started at Pound for Pound was to explore new health and fitness opportunities outside of traditional weight lifting. However, in just three months, I feel I have become fully entrenched in the Mixed Martial Arts Culture thanks to the world-class instruction I receive on a daily basis. My wife and I started training with P4P in September 2012. I am over 50 and was never serious on working out (actually, I never worked out). My wife tried different programs with various degrees of results. During our first discussions at P4P, They made us feel that we can start, and improve our physical fitness. For me, I did not want to feel intimidated by my lack of physical ability at a large fitness centre. When we work out at P4P we feel none of that intimidation because everyone that goes there has the same focus to be fit. From the very first time we met the P4P instructors, they always made us feel that one step at a time, our physical health would improve. And so it has. P4P has helped me strengthen specific areas (ie: lower back) that used to give me pain, and now that pain does not exist!! My wife an I are extremely happy with his help and expertise. I have been a client of P4P for over a year now. Not only do I meet with the P4P instructors for one on one sessions I also take part of his weekly fitness classes. Since starting with P4P, I have lost over 60 pounds and and seen a significant increase in my strength and endurance. I am a 46 year old guy in ok shape but prior to meeting the P4P instructors l didn't know the difference between a straight punch and a hook. After boxing with the P4P Instructors for only a few months, I felt confident enough to step into the ring with a much younger and much bigger opponent who was really trying to lay a beating on me.
