Having the pleasure and privilege of sitting under the learning tree of some of the best MMA instructors and P4P Coaches has been both a humbling and truly rewarding life experience. As someone who has only been learning the true art of MMA for about 3 months, I can say, without hesitation that the team at P4P has pushed me beyond my perceived physical and mental boundaries, and has enabled me to continually progress and hone my skills as a fighter. My intention when I started at Pound for Pound was to explore new health and fitness opportunities outside of traditional weight lifting. However, in just three months, I feel I have become fully entrenched in the Mixed Martial Arts Culture thanks to the world-class instruction I receive on a daily basis. I have a great respect for this facility and the coaches who continually look to enhance my strengths, eliminate my weaknesses, and that respect is given right back to me. What began as a hobby has now become my passion. Without question, I would recommend this training facility to everyone! You will learn things about your physical and mental capabilities you never thought was possible!
I am by no means a morning person, but the classes at P4P are worth getting out of bed early for! I have tried other gyms and countless fitness programs but quickly lost interest due to repetition and lack of results. P4P changes up each class to keep things interesting and give us new challenges. They are great trainers and provide the motivation I need to reach my fitness goals. Finally I can see and feel results.
In my first month since joining P4P back on December 1st 2016, I have already lost 10lbs. The classes are awesome and have surpassed my expectations so far. The training staff are great, always providing feedback and areas of improvement. The overall gym atmosphere is positive where you feel welcome regardless of skill level.
I have been training at Pound 4 Pound MMA, Pickering since 2015. During this period I have been impressed not only with the quality of the instruction from the trainers but also the friendly atmosphere. The staff and trainers not only took the time to get to know me but to also understand my motivation for training. I have utilized both classes and Personal Trainers for Muay Thai and have participated in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.
As a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces I have trained in several styles of Jiu-Jitsu in different parts of Ontario. Of all the Dojos I have been to P4P MMA is by far the best training club which I have experienced as there is no EGO and everyone pushes each other to do their best. At events the true comradeship is apparent as we support our fighters.
I have encourage anyone who is interested in training to try P4P MMA – I am sure you will be pleased with the outcome.
