I have been training at Pound 4 Pound MMA, Pickering since 2015. During this period I have been impressed not only with the quality of the instruction from the trainers but also the friendly atmosphere. The staff and trainers not only took the time to get to know me but to also understand my motivation for training. I have utilized both classes and Personal Trainers for Muay Thai and have participated in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes.
As a Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces I have trained in several styles of Jiu-Jitsu in different parts of Ontario. Of all the Dojos I have been to P4P MMA is by far the best training club which I have experienced as there is no EGO and everyone pushes each other to do their best. At events the true comradeship is apparent as we support our fighters.

I have been a client of P4P for over a year now. Not only do I meet with the P4P instructors for one on one sessions I also take part of his weekly fitness classes. Since starting with P4P, I have lost over 60 pounds and and seen a significant increase in my strength and endurance. Every time I meet with the P4P instructors they challenge me to push myself harder and because of this I able to meet goals I never thought possible. I am lucky to be able to work with the P4P instructors and am truly grateful they are a part of my weight loss journey.
I am a 46 year old guy in ok shape but prior to meeting the P4P instructors l didn't know the difference between a straight punch and a hook. After boxing with the P4P Instructors for only a few months, I felt confident enough to step into the ring with a much younger and much bigger opponent who was really trying to lay a beating on me. I am happy to say with P4P's training I was able to hold my own. P4P instructors are very professional, knowledgeable but most of all patient. If you're looking to get your boxing game on, novice or experienced he is your man.
I am by no means a morning person, but the classes at P4P are worth getting out of bed early for! I have tried other gyms and countless fitness programs but quickly lost interest due to repetition and lack of results. P4P changes up each class to keep things interesting and give us new challenges. They are great trainers and provide the motivation I need to reach my fitness goals. Finally I can see and feel results.
I started training at P4P in early 2015 for Muai Thai but since then we started circuit training, weight lifting and meal planning. The P4P instructors are professional, dedicated and most importantly enthusiastic!! They show a lot of knowledge and experience for their craft with every session and push you past your personal barriers. I would absolutely recommend P4P in a heartbeat.
